What is a habit tracker?

A habit tracker is the simplest, most reliable way to change behaviour — a single tap each day that turns intention into evidence. The Utilix habit tracker keeps that loop frictionless: add a habit, choose which days you actually want to do it, then tap once a day.

Why streaks work

  • Visible progress. Each scheduled day adds a link to the chain. You don't want to break it.
  • Realistic schedules. Pick the exact weekdays a habit makes sense (e.g. gym Mon/Wed/Fri). Off days don't break your streak.
  • Three views, one tap. Today for focus, Week for patterns, Month for the big picture.
  • Private by design. No accounts, no clouds — habits live in your browser.

How to use it

    Add a habit
    Type the habit (e.g. “Drink water”, “Read 10 pages”) and hit Enter. New habits start scheduled for all 7 days.

    Choose your active days
    Tap the S–M–T–W–T–F–S row to switch off any day you don’t want to do the habit on. Off days don’t count against your streak.
  3. 3
    Tap once a day
    When you finish the habit, tap today’s circle. Switch to the Week or Month view to backfill or check past days.

    Watch your streak grow
    Current and best streaks live on each habit card. Don’t break the chain.

Frequently asked questions

  • 100% in your browser’s localStorage. Nothing is sent to a server, no account is needed, and your habits stay private to this device and browser profile.

  • The current streak counts consecutive scheduled days, ending today (or yesterday if you haven’t checked in yet). Days the habit isn’t scheduled on are skipped — they don’t reset the streak.

  • Yes. Each habit has its own weekday schedule (e.g. gym Mon/Wed/Fri). Tap the day letters on the habit card to add or remove a day. Off days are dimmed in the Week and Month views.

  • Today shows just the habits scheduled for today, with a single tap to complete. Week shows a 7-day matrix to spot patterns and backfill missed days. Month shows a per-habit calendar of completed vs scheduled days.

  • No. To stay fast, free and private, habits are local-only. Use the same browser profile to keep your data; clearing site data will remove it.
